What I got out of this is how very different I have always been.
I wanted a home birth but Keith was sure hospital was ‘safe’
I wanted a water birth – but back then – could only do if I had been rebirthed myself and I was not allowed to – as I was pregnant . .
Such was life at the forefront.Hence we went to Boothville.

Prior to the scanning and the epidurals for no good reason – we were all expected to birth.
Partner was ‘on’ – being the ‘epidural’ with breathing and loving.
As my now husband said when he heard that childbirth education was no longer given.
‘How do the women cope?’
They don’t . .
We were loved up and touched by dad – so at least he was doing SOMETHING . .
Now?
Around 4 minutes – me not getting in the way of the first pregnancy .
4.45 – Potty training Sean . .
7.00 – miscarriage – eating ginger . .
7.45 – Next baby 3 weeks after miscarriage . .
8 – how to sort out the nausea/his name given . .
9.30 – listening to my own story . .no longer sick . .
10.00 – Solomon Islands honeymoon – and GOT MALARIA. .
15 – long consults needed. . no titre for measles – and then the conversation about MMR or no further babies. .
16 – Fetal scanning – 80 minutes. . an the early scan equipment . .invasion of cold . .
17 – scanning and potential placenta previa. Drinking 2 litres of milk (cold ) daily.
18 – war with various men in my life. .
19 – aching feet and legs – and feet up the wall.
19,.20 – maybe 30 weeks – and had an endotoxin antibiotic induced problem – dieback reaction . .

21- walking about The Valley to find a washing machine and drier . .
22 – washing nappies with baby 1 . .
24 – Early labour
27 – walking about in the Boothville grounds . .
27.30 – Waters broken – and 5 cm done in 30 minutes – on the gas . .
28.20 – Massive pushing contraction . .
29 – Pushing in the wrong position – could not squatting . .
30 – in the right position – left lateral . .
30.45 – visitors ..
31.30 – Sean not liking my noises . .
31.50 – Make it hurt more. .

36 – Blood transfusion allergic reaction
