After C-Section ‘cheat’ sheet

This is the story of one woman’s journey into maternity

Tina, a devout Indian woman, arrived a few years ago to become healthy enough to become pregnant.

They wanted to be as well as possible for the most responsible thing that they could ever do – construct another person. (Sex only happens in her world for procreation).  Thus no ‘trying’ as she was not sexually active and did not wish to be – only wanted ONE baby.

Having heard of me, she arrived with many health problems.

I asked that she return with her husband, and a sperm test – to see what we were dealing with. He had had debilitating headaches all his life. I suggested after a few sessions to see a colleague who specializes the Atlas Axis Prophylax work. Scared though trusting –  they did. Zero headaches now for many years.

They spent time going through my protocol.
They disappeared.

I often wondered what became of this very serious, committed and lovely couple.

Recently out of the blue, he called to see if I could see his mum. She was concerned that she may have a terrible problem with gut ache. I saw her 2 days before and 5 days after the usual cameras in both ends of the gut scenario. First session I cupped the cold from her belly and moved her physical stomach down from her diaphragm. (Hiatal hernia correction).

All fixed! To come back as a mess after the investigations.

When Tina’s back ‘went’, the considerate son thought of me again. They arrived – with her in severe, unrelenting pain. I had suggested that they use a lot of magnesium topically – which that did before they arrived.

I sat her on the steamer. No change. I then moved her to a treatment room, and got her to sit forwards and used Gua Sha. No discernible difference. I lay her down – very tricky – vast pain – right upper flank/back quadrant. Needed help from the two of us to get down. She thought pain due to baby wanting to co sleep, and her being in funny positions all night. Also the unrelenting problems of doing all housework as her mother-in-law was so ill. . .

I went through my protocol post C section, explaining that I move Qi. We would think bout her back pain once her body had unwound. As we did each step I got her to check her pain by gingerly moving about.

1 – Cupped navel.

Whilst the temperature difference was not large, (I use the non contact thermometer to measure – as this way no arguments – numbers talk!) her buttocks at 33C and lower belly 36.1 C was enough – plus the slightly scalloped tongue. We left the cup on till the bottom was 35 C and belly had reduced to 34 then up again to 36 C.She had same pain – slightly less edge to it.

2 – Stuck Belly Blood protocol. The pain was almost gone in her back.

Scar – large, and recently kelloiding. Awful feeling over the scar – it hurt. The lower and upper belly was numb and felt ‘wrong’. It as also very knobbly.

As I finished the leg points, (started at being excruciating pain on my poking point St 27) down to negligible. We could see how supple her St 27 point became. (Thank you Kiiko!).

3 – Lymph/damp moving. Needles in to settle whilst I did lymphatic diaphragm and lower inguinal and across chest moves. Had already established the ‘pull up’ strength.

4 – Started the scar work on the upper chest, reflecting the C scar. Just pressing in the line – any point – and a large difference was made in the scar sensitivity. The needles hurt her – everything upset and jangled. Back pain still receding as was the difference on upper and lower belly skin. Fixed! She was blown away – AND back pain negligible.

Scar not as painful – still keloided.

5 – Rechecked the Lu 10 reflex point for HHS – a lot less. Would normally also check for ileo-cecal but too much jarring likely with this – so left alone this session. Some light ’round and round’ and she got up to pee.

6 – Adhesion breaking on and around scar. Ideally I would have done the needling of C-scar also – but time constraints. Also not fond of needles. She needed to get off back and move around so it did not ‘seize up’.

Sat up by herself – no dramas – with my structural protocol.

Amazed, she walked out 2 1/2 hours later.

Next session I will do steps 1, 2, 3 and needle actual scar.  Then I expect the colour to shift, the knobs to go, and her body to totally relax.

My intention will also to start working as per the Maya and Mercier moves I have melded into Heather’s Gentling Way.

1  – Her homework is to take a great deal more Vit D3 (has been on 25,000 iu a week) and slather herself in magnesium. To order more Vit D 3.
2 – To also take the mineral and the energy powders I have to ensure the nutrients get to her – see the list of pregnancy and post birth woes below leading us to here).
3 – Also to rub comfrey ointment into the scar x 2 daily and assist the adhesion breaking.
4 – To use the moxa stick – just once – over the scar to assist its healing.

The sacral area is the key to healing – assist the Qi and Blood and nerves to normalise . .

What happened in this pregnancy – when she choose NOT to return to multi modality care all through the gestation
And when she had (because she had) such post birth trauma).

Not coping with pregnancy and work – she left at 3 months in.
Got shingles on belly
Baby ‘tracking small’ (at 39 weeks was 2.8kg – avid vegetarian and also – small herself  – first baby. .).

C section
Could not breastfeed easily.
D-MER. (see more here)
Feed line and pumping every 3 hours and formula top up.
Weaned at 6 months – was not on breasts – was pumping night and day).
Hair fell out in clumps.

Very depressed.
Now in severe back pain . .- scar was can’t touchable
Still upset about not breastfeeding – really wanted to.

Next session – back pain all but gone – now the nagging used to it one in lower body.
Session 2

Cupping out the cold,
Points on back to calm her – plus all my usuals

To undo what is stuck (‘porcupine bum’ etc).
Mercier moves.
Popped on steamer.
Needled C scar (with Liv 2) very painful scar . .
Begun the adhesion breaking via the uterine rake move.

More to come . .
At least 6 session and no more than a week apart is optimal.
Would love to be more than the 90 minutes – husband could only spare her away that time . .

What part of this was preventable?
All of it . .
