A tricky situation

Case 1
I have a 76yr old male client. He crushed his coccyx when he was 18, in a footy match, by landing on/sitting on a guys knee.
He gets pain from coccyx area, down the outside of his thigh (referred pain)and ankles, and has kinda lived with this for all those years. I have treated the coccydynia patient 8 times now and no change in Sx. His pain is always moving also. I have one more chance to treat him on Tuesday (tomorrow). I have Du Mai-ed him, with KID-3,4,7 GB-39 DU 1-2 25Hz electro DU 3,4 Ashi Sacral Foramen (which they were mostly fine) BL 11 Zheng Gu Shui over sacrum and L4/5 area with a heat lamp Then I added Tung: Du18 to Du 17 threading Gu Ci San (LI-12, 2 cun above and two cun above again) Ling Gu, Da Bai GB-31 and Blood letting over BL-40 bilaterally His pain is always moving (around his ankles, thighs and glutes, coccyx { never on the inside of the legs though}) also
He is a horse trainer, but has not ridden for years.
He is slim build with a spare tire around his waist, with snow white thinning hair and false teeth. Med Hx: he takes panodol oesteo daily
He is on: Olmesartan–myl, betminga and Duadart – tamsulosin hydrochloride
(me) Right. Tongue? Cold hands and feet?
Upper Jiao LU: excessive, HT: excessive, slippery Middle Jiao SP: strong, slippery, LIV: tight Lower Jiao KID: weaker both sides

(me) Temp of diff parts of body?
yes, cold feet. Always rugged up in wool.
In fact all over he is rugged up and his issues are always worse in the mornings before he warms up
i did not palpate his body for temp (i guess i should have)

 

So we start – triage . .
Not knowing temps (Digitech non contact needed)
Or tongue, or any spots that are tender – we do the obvious.  .
Pull out eh cold.
Helpful if we have a thermometer as no one can argue with this.

Instant changes.

Need to be using moxa (real) and also lymph drainage and no doubt here are substantial prostate issues.

 

Vit D3 – more here

Seriously need 50,000iu daily at least a month.
Then maybe 50,000iu a week.
All through winter then stop the slip slop slap. .

 

Magnesium – topical and as a gel and a spray – always warm up onj=hands first . .never put anythinkg on cold.
