Von Willebrand disease (VWD) is the most common bleeding disorder, affecting around 3.2 million people in the United States. It causes either insufficient levels of von Willebrand factor (VWF), a protein that helps blood to clot, or affects VWF protein function.
In someone with VWD, the VWF does not work correctly or occurs in insufficient levels, and blood takes longer to clot. People with VWD can develop serious complications or, in rare cases, bleed to death.
There are three types of VWD:
Type 1: This is the most common and mildest form, affecting around 85% of peopleTrusted Source with VWD. Those with type 1 have lower than typical levels of VWF.
Type 2: This features four subtypes, depending on the specific issue with the person’s VWF. People with type 2 have typical amounts of VWF, but the factor does not work as it should.
Type 3: This is the rarest and most severe form of VWD, affecting only 3% of people with the disease. Individuals with type 3 have very little or no VWF.

Why are we here and as a woman,. and if we are prone to over bleeding – why take the medical limited options as the Blood energy keeps us sane, and in alignment with being woman. Losing it or not making it in abundance starts a process that massively impacts on our being able to live well.

When we lose blood indiscriminantly we are in big trouble – esp if immediately after a birth.

How does a body work?
This is a big study – we need not to look at the end results /consequences, but of the ways the instructions are delivered.

Description: Periods are too long, too much Blood is lost/resources are wasted Often resulting in depletion of all aspects of a woman.
Why: May be the same reasons as too frequent/soon between cycles – Heat in the Blood or /and not able to hold onto the Blood till it is due to leave. Low Yang Qi to hold blood where it should be. Could also be insufficientf Vitamins A, C, D, E, K in your diet, and/or eating sugar/ chemical food /substitutes, causing Inner Heat and overall malnutrition.
Solutions:
1 – Take steps to undo the Heat in the Blood and /or the lack of Spleen Qi to hold the blood in that is causing the problem.
2 – Avoid all cold incursions into your body.
This is not only in your mouth, but in sleeping in a draft, under a fan, in AC or with open windows, getting cold, being in a cold showr, bath or purposefully pushing your body into cold – as this weakend your Spleen Qi and as a woman resiults in all the above dramas. Men may miss these – women unlikely.
3 – Paint 15% Lugol’s iodine solution on your skin daily – best on alternative ovaries. If you have sore breasts, cysts, dense or fibrcuystic – this is a sign of lack fo iodine and easily fixed.
4 – You may have a resulting iron deficiency from over bleeding. But it may be that the over bleeding was nit helped by having a les s than perfect thyroid function, This is usually due to presence of heavy metals. Often come swith over expe=osure to halides (fluoride, cholride, bromides. Iodine neede dto run the entire hormonal system is then is at risk.
NOTE – Hormones easily normalize when thsi is adjusted.
As a NATUROPATH
I see lack of Iodine – leading to the incomplete living so many women are channels into and accept as ‘it runs in the family’.
I am not sure any ‘genetic’ aberration is unavoidable – is it definite? We all have choices – and also ‘karma’. (top circle stuff).
