Under bum – LLI move

Welcome

Under bum FIXER

What it is – a way to loosen all ligaments that are in the vicinity.

Origin? – Dr Jennifer Mercier: find the ischial tuberosity. This is an area of protection for most so be mindful of the structure surrounding the “sitz bones”. With this manipulation you are contacting the
sacro-tuberous ligament and encouraging it to shorten which will then cause the pelvic floor and sacrum to relax.

Why it is – so much is attached to (and held in) the pelvic areacan be stunning release – and go in slow and hold deeply – for at least a slow count of 20 then release gradually

  • How to do it – This is at edge of their ‘bum’ – and is to be found by exploration – feels right ..
then you dive in 45 degrees at least – slowly firmly and increasingly hard – guard your hands –
and stay there at least 20 seconds. Ask them to feel what is happening and likely something will
‘give’ at least the first time you do this.

  • When to use – Usually after the sacral smash – but if not doing this – move (As in pregnancy – as in me with Amy) do this cautiously and VERY SLOWLY.What to do to set it up to win – Not an opening move – otherwise – will be fine – BUT do work on what the intention is – and check out the ligaments – this is another spectacular tool.

Immediately after sacral smash – Sitz bone shelf

What have we done so far?
Always ask – good to check in .
