In my decades of working on the edge of others’ desperation at all ages and stages of life, I have discovered one truth – we FIRST have to be in the driver’s seat to live well in our lives.
We can’t heal (change) when freaked out and panicked.
Or when we are resistant to the changes needed to heal.

Whose Life Is It?
There are three aspects to consider before you decide if “Gentling Yourself” is right for you:

Your needs MUST be your first priority. What if taking the first hour of your day as yours could change everything?

What if I told you that the journey back to yourself is simpler than you think, but requires something most people aren’t willing to give?

  • Attention.
  • Commitment.
  • Willingness to question everything you’ve been told about who you are and what’s possible for you.

The Path Back to You – The journey you’ll uncover in Healing Yourself, Gently is exactly that – the path back to you.

Not the ‘you’ that others are comfy being around – the you they expect you to be.
Not the you that’s been shaped by incidents, troubles, conditioning, and other people’s limitations.
The real you – the radiant, lightful being you came here to be.

Once you worked through what was to shape you for this NOW.
What you may have seen in the past as ‘problems’ are actually gifts in waiting.

The “Healing Yourself, Gently” course is a journey that anyone can take, when feeling brave and desperate enough to unwrap that which has felt up until now, too hard. There is a supportive sacred circle of fellow travelers waiting to share yourself with, as you join in and  you pass through the six weeks, daily in your own time, three distinct phases:

Phase One: Decluttering (Weeks 1-2 ‘Clarity’ and ‘Changing Gears’) An invitation to clear out old beliefs, ways of knowing, and being, habits, perspectives on life, and assumptions that have led you to where you currently find yourself STUCK. Think of it as a deep spring cleaning of your inner world – releasing what no longer serves, like clothes that you have grown out of.

Phase Two: Resetting (Weeks 3-4 – Body Remembers’ and ‘Body Heals’)
You choose to reset yourself back to better than the ‘factory settings’ you came here with. (bodies heal and can do this with different instructions and resources).  You were brand new initially. This is where the real transformation begins as you remodel yourself. Maybe you can access at least that level of clarity and possibility again.

Phase Three: Restoring (Weeks 5-6 – Taking Charge’ and ‘You Grow’ ).
Much like the computer being overloaded – you likely also have too many call son your time and self.
1 – Turn it all off!
2 – Clear back to as new.
3 – Follow the guidance found in the ‘owner’s manual’. Living as nature, woman tides, and seasons in your stage of life, and as your mission here dictates. Align to the natural order – why you came here at this time in the form that you are, so you can fulfil your birthright and your mission. Stepping into where you were to be at this point – a radiant, lightful being.


Maybe ask yourself:
1 – Is comfy, the known, the ‘same old’ really that comfy? Is scary wearing me out? What age was I when?

2 – Who wins if I follow somebody else and their version of who and what I am?
(WARNING – There may be undiscovered gifts, previously considered to be ‘demons’ involved). Think about how people have wanted you to be – the molding that has happened – you are TOO something. For others to cope with. You will have heard ‘the problem’ that you are to others – reflected back to you repeatedly. Too loud, too different, too quiet – whatever it is. Maybe making others feel uncomfortable. A question – do you even belong with them now?

3 – Who wins when you stay STUCK? Are you prepared for that change in dynamics? People and organizations will not necessarily want you to step out of line, stray from the box, step out of your cage – and into the life you need to live. Who is it helping by keeping you stuck where you are – in your pain, inner angst and not relieving the reason for the inner suffering, having to spend ever more resources to keep yourself somewhat stable?  By now you know not you, and what to do?

Within the course, initially you will fill out a sheet called ” Which Minute?” That clearly shows the division of labor in your house, your life, and the choices you’ve been making that have kept you stuck. Here’s the truth: you have to make a change in order to have a change.

I’ve learned that what people come to me for is never really what they’ve come in for.  They likely had given up mentioning what they thought the issue was – as they were always told – it was not so. TIME TO SHATTER

The condition that you cannot live with anymore, the label you’ve been given, the desperate state you’ve found yourself in – may not be getting attention as as the example above – it is not spoken of. It is not what is ‘allowed’ in biomedical circles. The apparent bit that (like in a car) is needing attention is almost never where we need to go.  Being brave is needed. And feeling safe. (Emotions). The freedom to be expressed. To stop being at war with yourself (thus your body is messaging you) is likely your way out. Imprisoned no more.

You likely have discovered that no amount of counseling has helped. Body remembers. Having spent your life to here not listening to what your body is saying, to what you know you need to do. Is it time yet?  You may be thinking “surely Heather doesn’t mean that!” – I likely do.

You are here.  it may be worth considering now – why all that you have trialed may not have ‘worked’. Not about what even I may be able to do for you. It’s about what you’re willing to do for yourself, and whether you’re ready  now to drop what set you up.

What does this entail? You gifting yourself time to reflect and ponder why you are here, now, and as a woman . .
Commitment – an hour EVERY day would be best. Including also the physical moves, the meditation gifts and the chance to relate to those in your Red Tent community – as you will want to see how others are going and to share your challenges and wins. .
Have access to a printer – as there are worksheets, checklists and accountability pages
Ability to assemble the resources into a workbook
A journal to write notes and diarise as you go deeper within
Goal – to get from your dark stuck spot to your Lighter being
