How to start – remember this is not the mechanical, but a profound way to begin any session – take out what is stopping the body healing itself. Cold wastes Yang Qi and likely between last time you saw them, and now there has been a visit to the cool section in the supermarket, a trip to the loo in the middle of the night sitting on cold plastic to relieve bladder, ‘grounding’ barefoot experience/experiment out on the wet sand/cold ground to add in more cold up into Ki 1 – and thus lodge forever (unless removed) in the stomach, intestines, womb and the back.
This becomes ever more obvious when you delve deeply into this.
Intention is not only to remove the stored cold – but nit add any more in – this no breezes, only a warmed cup place on the belly.
Also – no less than body temperature water to sip (have a straw handy) as the lymph will hasten and the body will give you instructions – thirst especially.

It is vital you use this well before all that is written in pregnancy as likely there are issues that will resolve quickly when you rescue her Yang Qi. This MUST be practiced on non pregnant women first. When you are proficient, do remember that the woman must not be lying in her back, but tilted slightly off to the left side,. This means you are not seeing the folded up towel that place under the right hip, once the cup is in place. If she is very pregnant, or has a ‘bad’ hip/back, she may be rolled onto her side, with the cup on, and supported by a pillow.
