DRAFT – This is me knocking available resources into shape
What we cover
Regardless of where you are up to on your journey – welcome
Need a map – how it feels. not bit focused.
About me
Although I had been involved in teaching students at all levels of acupuncture from 1981 – including designing and writing the courses, and working mainly with women from 1979 in Brisbane city, it was not until I was first introduced to the reality of being a woman – it was an Arvigo Self Care class in mid 2014. I wondered – ‘How was it that after my 35 years of being a gyne specialist I did not know all of this?’ I quickly went through the levels and trainings – becoming a Self Care teacher in that lineage in November 2015.
What I wish someone had taught me at some stage – and often the health professionals also have no clue, as we are taught from a male perspective and yet as mammals – all start off life as female..
About you – Likely in pain, at the end of options – desperate even. You may have done ‘everything’ offered.
You may not want what you endured in your past for your daughters/grand daughters. Maybe some of many of these?
- Painful or irregular periods; painful or irregular ovulation
- Dark or brown blood at the onset and at the end of menstruation
- Headache or migraine with period
- Varicose veins of the legs and/or tired, weak or numb legs
- Lower backache; back pain with period
- More serious imbalances including:
- Endometriosis, uterine fibroids and
- Endometrial polyps
- PMS/depression
- Painful intercourse
- Acute or chronic severe pelvic pain – and nothing seems to help – thus you are on a lot of medications.
- Frequent urination; bladder infections, incontinence, incomplete voiding, dribbling
- Recurrent vaginal infections
- Constant mishaps in pregnancy/
- Difficulty – infertility/staying pregnant/miscarriages
- Chronic gut and bowel issues
- Difficult menopause
- And not feeling right – and not knowing what to do about it. .
Or – you are already aware of the bio medical reality – or possibly professional training – and know there is likely more.
Welcome – actual course
Intro – housekeeping
What to expect – change
Shifting Gears – we shift ways of seeing life and living in a body.
Whilst this is likely not what you expect – there are answers to your questions. We start with normal. What is it. How to retrieve it. What you can do to help yourself. It is all simple really. Nutrients and flows – are the right things getting to where they should be and is circulation to allow all to be perfect happening?
Likely not – hence your body warnings. Pain, dysfunction and general distress – not alleviated with the short term chemical and surgical solutions that are offered. an the way that life is unfolding. Healing involves change. you taking out what is not supposed to be there and adding in what is – after resetting all back to the template/default normal setting you would have had at some stage. .
1 – You are here:
How you got to be in this course – likely participant and meet and greet – esp all beliefs now not valid as the results are STUCK
2 – Mystery uncovered – What is where?
A journey into being woman – structure
I am holding onto the hip bones. . . the iliac crests.
If you reach down – they are the sticky-out bits at your hips – on a line down from your shoulder. If you are very slender – they will stick out more.
If you lie down – you should be able to feel them.
They are part of the bowl – when we do belly work (coming)
Front bit facing the floor is the pubic symphysis – which you usually know nothing about UNLESS pregnant and it pains you. The vertebra lead into below to a fused triangle. See the back bit I am holding? Back of my crown
Your sacrum
It has holes in it. These carry the nerves and blood vessels into the pelvis. We can radically shift all that happens in your body by playing with this area.
Let us meet the womb and her different sizes. (If you are a man – YOUR womb is your prostate gland. How did that happen? All mammals start off as girls – and turn into boys with the bits in the right place as dihydrotestoterone is released by the budding testes (would have been ovaries) and they descend. Get ready for this surprise – what would have become a clitoris becomes a penis: and the would-be-uterus has a very different job – becomes a prostate gland. It wraps around your ‘bladder pipe’ – causing all sorts of grief if your ‘womb’/prostate starts being as upset about life as the women’s wombs can – and do.
Footage to use
(Welcome to my belly)
Beginning belly awareness
and – beginning start – hug etc.
WHAT IS IN THERE?
Sacrum and different wombs – one minute show wombs – Showing uterine positioning
Actual sizes – Blue – menopausal Walnut – prostate – Pink – normal womb – Red – About to bleed
Black shape – Bladder and the top for it – Pubic bone segment
Green line – vaginal space
Wonky ways to be
Called ‘normal’ – but actually creating your everything not right and never getting ‘fixed’ as the wombcentric way of being is foreign to the ones who do not bleed, breed, or bear the scars put upon in general and especially of being cut into..
If the womb is fallen forwards . . on to the bladder
Embedded within
The broad ligament is a flat sheet of peritoneum, associated with the uterus, fallopian tubes and ovaries. It extends from the lateral pelvic walls on both sides, and folds over the internal female genitalia, covering their surface anteriorily (FRONT and posteriorily (BACK). We need the peritoneal wrapping to be crinkle free. All organs (viscera) must be able to slide and glide.
Not perfect alignment means – trouble.
‘Normal’ MAY be what your medical specialist said – BUT – if it were optimal – no problems. (Answering their ‘we don’t know’).
Your central organ MUST be where she is supposed to be. You can spend all your life in pain – back, neck, belly, uterine, and all else connected – that is all ligaments for all the body – as the centre of a wheel – all spokes attached (and hub off centre). .. – or FIX IT!!!!
Womb fallen forwards? Bladder woes, and depending on which side if left or right – varicose veins and general that sided congestion. A womb must be where she is supposed to be -or your structural issues – and period pain and all else- WILL NOT GET BETTER. Till you DO sort this out – and gently. Not with knives, or with forceful attentions.
Adhesions – surgery will short term ‘help’ and more adhesions.
Adhesions – quick definition
Ligaments – connective tissue that holds it all together – necks, back, all go off as hub if wheel is off centre.
Fallen forwards – and left or right . . . fundus and pics of
NOT cardinal – and incontinence . . broad one
Suspensory ligament – and pregnant womb
Whiplash – torsion injury – womb and all the rest – untethered.
C section – course coming later. . . what happened in the womb removal? Hysterectomy).
What does realigning this do? Almost anything – from bladder prolapse and aching legs: bedwetting in adults: alarming back pain, period issues (of almost all descriptions a the normal circulaton of Qi and Blood – must be flowing for the hormones and the wastes to go in and flow out):legs restless and varicose, and any structural worry – especially necks that are not being attended well – it is a easy as correcting the stressors holding the fascia hostage – be it a long ago whiplash, a fall however young you were – or a recent surprise – all can hold the trapped distress – and it shows – elsewhere – as all is connected to all else.
Signs of womb not positioned correctly/misaligned
Your womb/entire self is held hostage. Often with adhesions grown to try to stabilise. These maybe as a consequence of being involved in an incident. Womb can’t work as intended – either for the production and shedding of the baby nest monthly – or to grow the baby well when it happens that you are to make another person.
Leading into also – entire body chaos – structural, digestive and urinary – plus all ‘hormonal’ as the messengers (hormones) to be sent around the body are blocked in being made (lack of appropriate blood and nerve flows and the wastes building up (lymph).
- Painful Periods
- Irregular periods
- Dark thick blood at onset and end of menses

- Continual miscarriages
- Premature births
