Welcome
This is NOT skin damage
Impressive – it felt AMAZING – Duncan was horrified – and I got him to go harder. Such relief!!!
What is it? – Scrapping. The skin. With a tool that allows no superficial damage – but opens the skin for the underlying stored SHA (STUCK – on all levels) to rise to the surface. Using short or long strokes to stimulate micro circulation of the soft tissue: which increases blood flow
Origin – Many countries – known to be from China
Why is it? – STUCK – cold, tension, Stuck Blood inside the deeper tissues.
How is It? – It Depends – you are in charge – start depending on how you feel they will cope. The muscular young lads – can maybe mot handle – if there is a huge collection of cold and STUCK – and yet there is me above. . asking for harder. See the footage from below link.
What you need – A light oiled covering on skin. Japanese/Chinese spoon, anything – no sharp edges.
What it may feel like (for you) – Tiring – it is hard work. Take breaks.
What it feels like for them? – Could be very surprising – tell them to buckle up . . make sure you have checkers – so they can feel what you are doing. And cope with the process.
When to use? – Whenever there is an acute cold invasion, and /or there is blanching in the surface of the skin, and/or if there is a long standing STUCK issue – esp when no structural work done holds, and/or you know back cupping is to be done (to stop the potential blistering), and /or – you suspect that it MAY free up the Qi.
When NOT to use? – If they are frail, on blood thinners (be gentle, it can be BLACK that you see – and when this happened to my recipient – her breathing improved massively – her back was a picture thought!!
How to set it up so all win? – Warn them that this can be very firm – and it works. . Touch them somewhere else so they feel secure, and safe.
