Induction Impending

Description:

Someone has arbitrarily decided baby has to come out

Baby is not ready, hence you are not naturally in labour

Scheduling birthing is potentially dangerous for you both

First babies are usually 10 days 40 weeks – yet 41 weeks is set as the normal term that France dictates for ‘dueness’.

Totally ignores all individual circumstances.

Why:

Recent ‘advances’ /esp scans and interventions that nature does not need in obstetric medicine means baby is not safe from prying & this is the result.

Occasionally there is actually a medical necessity.

Being ‘over dates’ is arguably a case for more maternal rest and resources.

Also checking the fetal position – is OP the reason no labour starting??

Solution:

Research the issue – baby’s lungs need to be ready to breathe
