Breech – Malposition of Fetus

Description:

All seeem to have forgotten that this is a variation of normal.

Refer to this page on fingertip-rescues site

Seen as a reason to have a C-section, although research shows easiest, safest position is birthing unmedicted, upright, facing forwards, (with a natural birth), with skilled trusting birth attendants.

Why:

Mum and baby may have things to work out.

Either of them could have ambivalence on birthing

Structural alignment may be required

Perhaps baby is in safest place & could easily birth if allowed to

Maybe not as cord placement unsafe.

Solution:

Stop and focus.

Feel into why you are stressed.

Babies can shift even in labour – if all is well and natural.

Moxa on sacrum with mum sitting forwards often relaxes uterus and baby can shift.

Using Rebozo may help.
