Manual – Living Ligaments I

Welcome – FreeSTUCK

Here are – THE MOVES
THE CLASSIFICATIONS (CLICK)
and THE SEQUENCING

Reminder – moves are one aspect – and need to be within a context of loving grace and acceptance of all that is.
Self awareness/clarity, secure container – the space we work in and tools at the ready – for any eventuality.

LL I is after much work – we begin the deeper moves to realign the womb – or the space she inhabited and what is left. Or the man’s equivalent. So much is stored here – not only of their lives, but of ancestral remainders.

All others will have set this up. These moves are checked against the O.S.L. and throughout this you will watch it shift incredibly. It seems to do this most with the glut slides and sacral work. Hence the need to be settling, soothing, and adding in more magnesium, and vibrationary tools as the body is letting go.

Deep breaths, and breaks into other activities to not so much distract, but allow the body and person within to process what often may be a big surprise.

Living Ligaments I – this work sits upon:

What to do to set it up to win – everything is done first. That is EVERYTHING below – or you have decided not to.
Taking out the cold and getting the Move Your Qi moves out of the way is crucial (and why this is not an hour consult) – as is having them fed and adequately watered and settled  often took one look/feel of them, and played with roses, took them on a garden tour, or Aura Soma’ed them – and steamed – so we could get into the maze that was them).

1 – Reconnecting (Visceral sliding and gliding PLUS the heart connected to the wombspace – Bao Mai to Dai Mai) Source? My life work

2 – Foundational Moves (online – all I taught after my then 35 years prior to beginning the Arvigo intensives – mid 2014)
3 – Pelvic Opening – Mainly from the WDCD manual (pub 2005).
4 – Self Soothing – a combination of the initial JV moves moderated by my 40+ years of playing about honing into and picking up stray extras along the way PLUS the Arvigo flavoured (napropathic sourced PLUS the central American/Belizean midwives and traditional healers).

Living Ligaments I is based upon the moves gained from attending  Dr Jennifer Mercier, (Oct 2016) filtered through all of the above and using the O.S.L. insights I gained watching and working with the Maya/Dr Rosita Arvigo inspired body of work MY WAY – to allow the incorporation of all modalities to enrich the ways we all can Let Go.

LLI was birthed at The White Eagle Lodge in June 2017. A very special place to hold the energy.
We had Kaliana (Rose of Raphael) and Vicki Engeham (was with Aura Soma then) – to allow all a greater retreat as deepening self is a way to clarity.

SEQUENCING

You MUST look to the Stuck Liver Qi move first

See Basics Moves page (Including Pelvic Opening) (CLICK)

Reconnecting Moves (CLICK)

Living Ligaments I specific

We are in the middle of the session to be doing these moves – and after these.

We work initially after all the up to, and including Reconnecting moves are complete.
In a state of reverence and grace – in awareness of who knows what will happen next?
We also MUST be mindful of doing too much – do not get tied up into your leaning at their expense.
Mind them – duty of care is massive when Gentling.
YOU must be clear, the space safe, and them in a receptive, not reactive space.

Where did these come from?
Mercier training – but via Moving Blockages/Free Your Qi, through Arvigo and out into Gentling Way Living Ligaments.

ORDER?
Not as here . .
Is linear on paper and has to be started somewhere – these moves are Dr Mercier’s – she does not source them.
Once you have a grasp of these, we then sequence appropriately
And may at the end – do the O.S.L. corrections – though we observe how/what shifts on this as we go through all our work.

Ovarian Whirlpool CHECKER/eventually a correcter [FIXER]

Ovarian whirlpool (CLICK)

  • What it is A deepened attack at 90 degrees to sort out all that is blocking circulation in and out of the ovaries.
  • For men this can be an immensely revitalising experience as often the left side (where the testicle started) is all congested – try not to mess with ‘tubes’ if you find any.
  • Origin? – Dr Jennifer Mercier
  • Why it is – so little exercise and actual deep work happens in this regions – and so many are sedentary and not allowing lymph to flow naturally – seat belt injuries, tight clothes, seated most of the day
  • What to expect (what are you liberating)?
  • How to do it Acc to Dr Mercier – Once you feel that you’ve sufficiently warmed the tissue than you’ll need to find the ovaries. Once the ovaries are palpable massage each of them separately in a clockwise motion 10 times each side.
Work deeply. The goal of the work here is to ” re-awaken” the blood flow to each ovary. Also, when
you’re working the ovary itself you’re influencing the suspensory and utero-ovarian ligaments to loosen
their tensions. Use circular sweeping motion to influence the relaxation of your client and also to help
remove excess lymph that may have collected.

  • What it may feel like – under your hands/fingers.
  • When to use. As with all here – in sequence – initially to assess – gently – how much ‘give; you have then go in a lot deeper . .and get stuck in – only after the other tools- steaming/noxa sacral fan/lots of back and belly/lymph have been achieved.
  • When not to use – If painful = or you are in doubt

What to do to set it up to win: – use as check in

As you go through the layers, in time – they will feel how much you are moving.

Always do a ’round and round’ after and a settle.

Uterine Rake – CHECKER/eventually FIXER

Uterine rake (CLICK)

  • What it is – A very deep raking move that allow sthe body to find what it got used to.
  • Origin? – Dr Jennifer Mercier
  • Why it is – “With each raking movement you are shortening the utero-sacral ligament to enable a lessening in tension and restriction”.
  • What to expect (what are you liberating)? Thus is very deep and shifts almost anything – you must be slow and start shallower than you intend to end up.
  • How to do it – “Find the uterus. Start with your finger tips in the center of the pubic bone and pull superiorly off into the lower pelvis. You’ll be able to access the top of the uterus. Place your fingers back on the pubic bone and continually “rake” the uterus deeply and slowly 15 times. This is a very deep manipulation and can be uncomfortable for many women so go supremely slowly. If your client’s bladder seems full than have her go empty so she is more comfortable”.
  • What it may feel like – under your hands/fingers. Often you can’t get it it is so tight, full of fibroid or whatever.
  • When to use – always – as a checker – to see how you are going
  • When not to use – I would still use when pregnant- judicially – not a beginner’s experience – I have used it in end stage prostate cancer and along with all else we we doing – he lost the cancer.
  • What to do to set it up to win – everything is done first – like prostate drainage – this is almost at the end.

Leg for walk – FIXER

A page on this and how to set up here (CLICK)

  • What it is – a way to unhinge all the stuck ligaments/trapped lymph also – when you do this in the midst of all else – do not start here.
  • Origin? – Dr Jennifer Mercier
  • Why it is – so easy to get so stuck as this is the gall bladder meridian and the resentment we all carry is phenomenal.
  • What to expect  – often deep resistance – so you get to think and act creatively.
  • How to do it – They are up against your body – right on the edge of the table. You are going to take their leg for a walk – and in ONE plane – not lifting it also – straight back – most important. Warn them of what is happening – and to let go . . can’t force this. If too stuck – go back to this – after more massage, get them up to GB bash, steam, needle – whatever . . Take a breath. Working hand starts on the edge of the hip.

As you are bringing the leg back, you are firmly unattaching adhesions – the two actions are concurrent.

Repeat – going back gradually further – and by you swiveling at your waist.

  • What it may feel like – under your hands/fingers – If it is far too rigid – stop and fix that first – how ever you can.
  • When to use – to loosen off so the eventual womb work may happen.
  • When not to use – If in pain. IS A MUST otherwise. . and fix why they are in pain.
  • What to do to set it up to win – lots of GB meridian work first . .

Whole process

If it is too restricted, I stop and work on the GB meridian.

Many ways – you can massage/gouge, point percuss the hips – onto of (GB 29 area)

Needling – Distal first – likely GB 41 – the sorest point
GB 34, 31, as Spleen point of balance Stems of Unlike Qi (CLICK)

The Porcupine bum – 5 x 3 inch needles into the area of GB 30 – all angling down into the actual point – at least 3 inches in – so you COULD press around and take the sorest I just add in as I feel . . (Less invasive to goes as can be very sore – but often it is a ‘good’ sore – you are there – you judge.)

GV 1 – my signature point.
MUST be needled if you are confident needler.
Usually after steam as it s softened up.

Glut Slide – SOOTHER/FIXER

A page is here on this also here (CLICK)

  • What it is – an initially gentle ride down the GB channel – at the pelvic level.
  • Get gradually deeper – always incredibly SLOW
  • Origin? – Dr Jennifer Mercier.
  • Why it is – holding tension so very well stops all attempt so assist resolution. Especially in the emotional level.
  • What to expect (what are you liberating)? Must start slowly and very superficially on women as they carry almost all their inner accounting here. Can be really a game changer – as this usually then kicks up all they have been hiding – hence we are NOT starting here. Maybe tears, rage, all sorts – or deeply relaxing. Be warned – must come back to do this many times in session – as with the SLQR and so many other moves – is all why it works so well – we go through layers, and they MUST be led with breath and with hydrating – and fed when needed and of course – all the vibrational work done.
  • How to do ituse KNUCKLES fist over fist warming technique on the gluteal muscles and relieve
trigger points as you find them. (H says – Going down the hip/butt to the table – feather light first as
you have no idea what they have stored there – and one side may be totally different from
the other). This is the area GB 30 – add in all points and do a whole section on second run
back yin points first – as we are able to – maybe at end of this and in GV1 .
From other side – do many lines – all only on the sides – not too much to the front or on bum

  • What it may feel like – under your hands/fingers – all of us are different. Often it is soft and squishy 0r sometimes ropy and all in between.
  • When to use – on anyone – not instantly – again this is a mid move
  • When not to use – if the person is really pissed off – this is likely all held here. SLQR all over again . .

What to do to set it up to win – we can do all the Pelvic Opening and the Foundational Moves work first – this is advanced.

Sacral smash – FIXER

See more here (CLICK)

  • What it is – Pressing hard down on the sacrum 3 minutes
  • Origin? – Dr Jennifer Mercier – her instructions Place one hand over another on the sacrum and give firm pressure. This maneuver will help shorten the utero-sacral and sacro-spinous ligaments releasing any tension in the lower back. Hold for about 3 minutes. Make certain that the table is low enough for you to get the leverage that is needed for this manipulation. Very important to stay totally stationary whilst this happens.
  • Why it is – Seems to fix everything – if you set it up first. See above.
  • What to expect (what are you liberating)? 45 – 60 seconds in – ask how their mid/upper back is – usually it lets go.
  • How to do it – See above.

NOTE HOW MY WEIGHT IS SHIFTING – AS WE GET MORE INTO IT?
Also – that I am up on the table with her

  • What it may feel like – under your hands/fingers. Be careful on yourself as this a long time to hold down with all your weight – must get your fingers happy first – and be comfy. Pay attention to what you can feel – sometimes you may hear a crack – you are not breaking them.

  • When to use – After a lot of glut and sacral work – preferably a steam or /and moxa sacral fan work first.
  • When not to use – 1 – If it doesn’t feel right for whatever reason – you are there – you make all these calls (judiciously)
  • 2 – When pregnant – unless at the very end of pregnancy (major part of the opening baby gate.
  • 3 – If the sacrum is somehow broken recently is too sore
  • 4 -If the pressure causes any other problem/increases other issues

What to do to set it up to win – Loosen off all the Gall Bladder canal areas – more glut slides. sacral work before you do this and maybe – depending on the person – you may have done the leg for walk first – depends. . Make sure they are comfy – be aware of men’s genital s being smashed also into the couch/table.

Under bum FIXER

See more here (CLICK)

  • What it is – a way to loosen all ligaments that are in the vicinity.
  • Origin? – Dr Jennifer Mercier: find the ischial tuberosity. This is an area of protection for most so be
mindful of the structure surrounding the “sitz bones”. With this manipulation you are contacting the
sacro-tuberous ligament and encouraging it to shorten which will then cause the pelvic floor and
    sacrum to relax.
  • Why it is – so much is attached to (and held in) the pelvic areacan be stunning release – and go in slow and hold deeply – for at least a slow count of 20 then release gradually
  • How to do it – This is at edge of their ‘bum’ – and is to be found by exploration – feels right ..
then you dive in 45 degrees at least – slowly firmly and increasingly hard – guard your hands –
and stay there at least 20 seconds. Ask them to feel what is happening and likely something will
‘give’ at least the first time you do this.

  • When to use – Usually after the sacral smash – but if not doing this – move (As in pregnancy – as in me with Amy) do this cautiously and VERY SLOWLY.

What to do to set it up to win – Not an opening move – otherwise – will be fine – BUT do work on what the intention is – and check out the ligaments – this is another spectacular tool.

Heels to bum FIXER

See more here (CLICK)

  • What it is – a good stretch
  • Origin? – Don Elijio Panti
  • Why it is – we have been working in different areas and this helps balance out the front and the back.
  • How to do it – gently take their lower legs back, your right lower arm as the ‘bar’ – and at the same time press towards the end of the table, with your left hand on the sacrum – so that also gets a good stretch.
  • What it may feel like – under your hands/fingers – go with the body – do not force it – you will feel it let go – do maybe a deep breath – they also may and that makes a big difference. .
  • When to use – in sequence – as the near to end. .
  • When not to use – if they have had recent hip surgery or some other structural major – also not necessarily indicated of very pregnant – unless you are very proficient and this is done with them lying on the floor in a nest of pillows.
  • What to do to set it up to win – be aware that all are so very different and be respectful – it is a stretch, not a war.  Do warn th3m that this is a stretch and that they could breathe into it.
  •  THIS IS WHAT DR MERCIER TAUGHT – I do not do as the Maya one is easier on all of us – BUT – sometimes you may wish to play to see yourself. Unless they are really slender. (Dr Mercier”s  is too hard on us)

Easy –  Don E.P. ‘heels to bum’ .

‘heels to bum’ . .

In between – as on the front when you feel to, you do a very subtle jiggle on the hips, here you do when prone, a slighty stronger jiggle – across the sacrum – 90 degrees – across the body. Also a hand on the heart and the sacral chakra and gently rock to settle.
