  • Warm hands, this can be achieved over the clothes and always lying down.
  • Pillow under the knees to allow the lower back support – and to give you more softer belly to work on.

All of this work has been trialed extensively by me for up to 40 years on so many people – safe and effective.
Just have warm hands and good intentions – and follow as directed!

Not mentioned here is the extensive use I make of topical magnesium – the body I work on has always been plastered with it on the large muscles first as the calmness and extra resources (as well as the water mentioned – not chilled) is vital for best results.

What to use

1st movement

(Repeat nine times lowly and very shallowly).

Also repeat once when you feel to

and always in between all other movements – to allow the lymph a chance to settle

2nd initial movement

Add in more oil onto your palm as this is a very fluid move – and even more shallow – just a drag on the top of the skin really.

9 times around again – always to the right as this is the direction of the bowel and thus all gut contents  .

Not what you want to see.
I have had this appear in front of me when pregnant women get up as they are wont to do (pretending that they can still do what they could when not ‘with child’).
Mainly seen when getting up and not rolling onto their sides first.
Also – after birthing – and still breastfeeding (ligaments are not as rigid).
I have seen a perfectly connected lower belly completely open up with her teaching advanced yoga.  A woman’s body is vulnerable when she is in the state to make more children. Many small children I have found to have gaping holes where they should be connected – and no one seems to have noticed.

This is fixable – with application.
We could ponder “was the body made properly?”
Usually I would say always.
The complete (and hard edges) involvement is often softened through regular use of this technique – as has happened with my niece – plus she is mindful of her movements to encourage the X criss-cross action of these muscles to rebind themselves.

This leads to the Qi not flowing as it moves in the spaces – and where are they when all is feeling (and is) all blocked up?
Almost all in acupuncture know that all ‘hard cases’ are damp and Phlegm related – this would be lack of iodine bio-availability – see below and also – the formation of sludge. Here we are encouraging its flow ..

I start always on the LEFT hand side and very shallowly – and always start almost at the surface as one side may be totally different to the other – and one day may be totally different. (Also one body versus another).

Aim for three sweeps in a bracket.
Slower and more superficial towards the sides/edges of the body.

Then do the other side – always begin with the LEFT
I often add these in – as with the ’round the perimeter’ and also the wobble wobble of the hips – gentle, slowly – we are encouraging the body to loosen, to soften and to flow.

Damp – the acupuncturists here see most of us as having damp/phlegm – the energy of obstruction.
Also – lymph not flowing – and thus we feel congested, stuck and podgy. – and often complain of no energy – (blocked) and ‘brain fog’.

The hippy shake /wobble wobble is also to signal to the body that more movement is to be encouraged – not forced.

What is there energetically?
A fire. Please keep yourself warm and do not pile cold in – as your inner oven as it does not work as well.

Hence the gut aches. all sorts of mess that you may find yourself in.

What are the coins? (Jing)
A representation of the inner currency that hopefully you have banked’ – for the time when you may need to draw upon extras.

Liver Qi has to flow. All that pent up emotion (Swallowing pride/can’t stomach it). Language is full of the awareness of the link of all that we are – not just a body with a brain.
