Pricklies – #6 Heather’s favorite points

Welcome

This is what will invariably be used in my sessions.

Past the classifications – here is what is called upon – in addition – all the time. .

Ki 9

Yin Wei Mai – Xi Cleft point (CLICK)

Kidney 9 – a VERY needed point

Why I use it?
1 – Stabilise pregnancy – my ‘go-to’ stop miscarriage – when we have the major reason why it may be upset. As in too much cold Cup navel, and moxa all points to assist AFTER, maybe moxa sacral fan, or anxiety – may need to undo what is really distressing and then thread moxa heel for anxiety.

2 – Build up yin and assist all in aging – loosely a menopausal woman’s friend

3 – Detox point – the sorer it is likely the more it is needed.

4 – As the Xi Cleft point Yin Wei Mai  –  likely to work on all the deeper parts of the body energetics.

Chinese Name: Zhubin (English translation: Guest Building)

Location: On the medial aspect of the lower leg, 5 cun directly above KID 3, on the line connecting KID 3 and KID 10, at the medial and inferior end of the belly of m. gastrocnemius.

Classification: Xi-Cleft point of the Yin Wei Vessel

Rooted in Dr V’s work as I am . . And maternity – and hopeless .  THIS is the bomb!
I generally add it in at some point when people see me – nurturing or a remove toxin – or in pregnancy to make sure all is well. Great options – spread out – and none of these are in the indications given in the TCM formats. NONE. There is such a discrepancy between the academic and the practical /clinical. From the past and the lineages – so many different ones – and the P.C. versions.

YOU need to know – where info springs from. It is unlikely that anything that is written online has my linage, experience and thus it is not what I would teach – as this is one of the most important points – but you do need to know the theory and use of the 8 Extras – and this is not usually taught – until ‘advanced’ years – YET this is the beginning of all Qi flow and life itself.

8 Extraordinary vessels – supervise, maintain and regulate the flow of Qi and Blood in the 12 main . .
Kidney meridian is an important one (CLICK)  (8 Extras connection – a great start – academic – from classics (CLICK) . My work is from life via Dr VB and the early ’80’s HB. (CLICK)

This is why I ignore what is written online – who is holding the pen? What do they actually know? LINEAGE . . Is MY GO-TO – anti miscarriage/hold baby in point. BUT – is not a great choice if bub no good.

Known as the ‘beautiful baby’ business came from Felix Mann paying for translation of texts he found  in China – decades ago (maybe 50)  – and who has his books now? (They like all are in various spots in NZ awaiting uplift).

May be a great picture – BUT the info – is TCM speak ..

We need to look at that which holds us in Qi terms. When the Yin and Blood energy are not that balanced – usually depleted – we get all the problems you will find in Woman Tides and on this site. (CLICK)
