As an acupuncturist I have been very aware that people do not necessarily need or like painful needle stimulation. I have always used my fingers before and after the needling session to move what has been alerted to changes in the treatment. Far better results have been maintained for longer. Using my knowledge of where the energy flows and what has undone it – results in apparently magic transformations for all here you can too – at home -and without needles!!
NOTE – The more tense/stuck you are – the more gentle this is to be done – and the more relief will flood through you when you LET GO!
All pain
Structural or gyne or anywhere – as when Liver Qi is not flowing – all hell can and does break loose – esp in any circulatory or anything . . digestive. Emotionally distressed and generally at wit’s end?
Usually it is your energy blocked. One way to get it flowing again is to move. .
‘Exercising’ is one way

We begin somewhere other than the physical.
We follow the energy grids/pathways that tell the physical body bits what to do. Here we have the lateral (side) path as it seems to cover the places most people associate with stress related pain (blockage).
The Gall Bladder meridian covers the entire body top to bottom. The lines shown on the body map are representative of what is on both sides and what is always flowing – whether we have the actual organ still in our body, or removed.
The shaded lines show areas under the control of the energy we are looking at. The gall bladder and the Liver energy are very closely linked. This means that anything that upsets you will mess with the flows in these two channels/ lines/pathways/meridians more than in any others.
DAMP!!!!!
Along the upper legs, many women find that they store fluid and see ‘cellulite’. This is easily moved. Iodine – topical – on the skin. The thyroid can only work when this is plentiful. Qi can only move when Iodine is available to the cells. Yang Qi (we meet in day 3 of the challenge) is equivalent to metabolism – thus thyroid function (and adrenal) – and the state of your metabolism.
What to do
When feeling stuck/depressed/achey/lacking in energy (it is STUCK)
It is always useful to have some measure to see how you are going . .
1 – Perineal pull-ups
2 – Deep breath ease
3 – Move neck from side to side
4 – Limberness – touching toes
5 – Look at tongue.
6 – Press ends of ribs points (GB 25, Liv 13)
SELFING
Often we need to do something – we always have our own hands
Start – open up – gentling it – you will know how fast and deep – tune in. .
Always less than you think – and slower – though the heart chakra clearance is usually faster as you go along . .
Have someone to do this with/for you and you will not believe the instant lightness of being.

WHAT TO DO
1 – Almost no oil on your hands or them – this is not a sliding move
2 – Make sure you and they have been well hydrated – and offer it as this moves lymph. The body will thank you
3 – Slow
4 – Start gentle and work up to it.
5 – About a 15 degree angle as a zig-zag starting from the top and working downwards.
6 – Always start at about the ‘bra line’ around the shoulder blades
7 – End no lower than the ribs end at the waist.
Note – this is not pinching but rolling.
Flank gouge – the GB meridian. . .
Sitting up and over a chair/table/couch/ opening the pelvis also and if pregnant – ensuring the pelvic opening and baby positioning perfection.
