Stretch Marks

Description:

Skin becomes itchy, often followed by red or purple-coloured stripes along skin surface that is under pressure (i.e. breasts, belly, bottom)

Why:

Malnutrition – the skin is stretchable and this is not normal/should not be happening.

Lack of Zinc, vitamin C

Lack of good gut function and healthy bacteria (these help to assimilate foods well)

Solution:

Preventatively, oil skin throughout pregnancy twice daily (preferably cold-pressed almond or coconut oils)

Take plenty of Zinc, fish oil, vitamin C & D (sunlight)

Eat plenty of fat, protein & a wide variety of coloured vegetables

Drink lots of pure (not chilled) water 

See an acupucnturist to assist normalise your body function, especially when pregnant – a lot can be reversed with the appropriate interventions.
