How much does it cost to live consciously in your own life?

The question – ‘what is CAM?’ It does not have to be a service with a fee attached.  This is where I have been leading in the past few weeks. An answer to any query re costs with CAM (living consciously to affirm life).

The reader may see how cheap living to heal life could potentially be.  Many who have been diagnosed with a terminal condition (as life is, let’s face it) have, and are not living the expected medical horror prognosis, as they changed why they had the problem. They did not keep running towards, then over the cliff.  They did not do what was expected of them. (Wait to see what more of the same in life wold give them – they changed . . .)

I guess I could end by saying – where was the research to show that our current ‘best cancer medical practice’ is the best/cost effective and safest way to deal with a immune system/body in distress?

Whether involved in orthodox cancer eradication ‘therapy’; or in hopeful remission, or avoiding all of the above, perhaps by being ‘alternative’ and healing your life yourself, the steps below are not financially onerous.

Sensible living as proposed by most CAM advocates is not usually onerous, just follows the simple ways of yesteryear – minus the smoking and the drinking alcohol and apparent immunity to farming chemicals (I remember the lawn seed being red as the lead content was to kill the sparrows). .

1) – Choosing a plant based, nutrient dense diet with no preservatives and no substance abuse (caffeine and alcohol and smoking), is not expensive.

Acknowledging the modern diet is inadequate because of the farming models now used – pesticides and quick ripening agents rather than being organic or biodynamic means some self help – possibly taking up grandmas’ pursuit of gardening.

To have the average person change their diet and exclude all ‘yummy’ foods and eat mainly home grown would mean more sun and fresh air, more time for reflection, more tiredness, less screen time, possibly more sleep and a feeling of achievement – and it is only gardening – a happy NZ pastime!!

2) – Taking the odd vitamin to cover deficiencies – especially those most likely to be deficient in a cancer body – Iodine and Selenium and Zinc is not expensive, but a form of insurance.

Just looking to Vit D which allows all fat soluble vitamins (all but B and C) to be utilised.  http://www.naturalnews.com/021892.html (The role of Vit D in a study that explained a 60% reduction in cancers found in previously healthy women over a 4 year period).
Can’t hurt – and being in the sun, more with growing own food would assist massively – again where is the cost?

It could be argued in spending time not working. Finding oneself with cancer, or in a high stress job – being in the garden is far cheaper than having a therapist of any description spend your money – also is far more productive.

No costs and lots of benefits.  At the high end there is the use of a juicer (not the centripedal motion one but a crusher – – that if done as the Gerson institute suggest will be about a $3000 investment – for life and possibly for living longer. http://gerson.org/gerpress/gerson-guide-to-juicers/

3) – Besides just eating differently – and we all have to eat – and choosing less packaged and simpler – plus only pure water and resting more – plus meditating is not (financially) draining; taking bicarb soda for alkalising is as simple of a tiny bit of baking soda in water is not expensive – but is the act of an aware person.  More exercise doesn’t have to involve mechanical equipment in a gym.

4) – Reiki is a great investment in anyone’s life. Becoming a ‘channel’ oneself means healing at your fingertips.

As a health care professional, I urge all in dire need of help to start their own healing journey there.  Empowerment not dependence.

The benefits of Reiki are (in a case history) found on http://easybabies.com.au/category/parenting/difficult-babes/. Anecdotal.  It was astonishing to see that baby’s mottled skin and hopeless demeanour change with a session. A minor outlay to what it could give each person who Reiki’ed themselves daily.

Again – I know no harm done.

To look always to someone administering something, rather than to realise that the body with cancer is showing a report card of the life lived to date – and changing the life that is lived will alter what the report card says.

Of course this may sound improbable to the average scared cancer patient.

Others have gone down this journey – usually finding a naturopath to direct them – BUT this is an individual’s journey. They do not do one thing – and here we again run into the ‘how do you know?’ issue.

When it is your life, and you are funding it and you feel to do it, you may not care. As a patient – inner wisdom sometimes shines through.

More poisons and more trauma is the fastest way out of a life that I know of – and watching those who have not done this and who have won (again anecdotal), not by attacking their body but by rebuilding it – by not shutting down emotionally whilst being so traumatised with more acid build up and more radiation and toxins all going in – is opposite to a peaceful and happy life.  It is a business this cancer industry.

‘CAM’ is not an industry as those who practice in one of the modalities find – when people undo themselves they heal.  As a private funder it costs time and the courage to undo what created the inner drama that lead to the body working in ‘rogue mode.  Not the least of which is the emotional crud.

None of this as it is based on the disease (which cancer?) but the ground/person. The funding issue of a seemingly discreet mechanical problem is about symptomatic relief and removal – too fraught to even go into the costs of a rape or sexual assault and what it sets in motion for the average woman (look to the reproductive cancer rates with those who have acknowledged their past – and the ones still not aware of this – the cancer may be their first awareness – altogether too hard for govt funding bodies).

What to do as a patient? Take matters into own hands.  Where is the research into what happens when you change your life and reverse out of cancer, as opposed to keep doing all that created it plus add more poisons and stress to the mix?
